Raffaella De Vita, Professor of biomedical engineering and mechanics at Virginia Tech,and Center for Engineered Health faculty has been recently elected Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

De Vita is an internationally recognized expert in biomechanics and currently leads the the STRETCH Lab in Virginia Tech.
